How to use this tool
A quick walkthrough, start to finish
1
Upload the artwork or use stock lettering
Choose Upload logo or Stock lettering. Stock lettering uses the 16 OCLT styles from the Decoration Guide: type 1–3 lines of wording or up to 3 team letters (single, stagger, side by side, or interlock), and pick 1–2 colors. To upload instead: Drag a logo onto the Artwork box, click it to browse, or paste an image with Ctrl/Cmd+V. PNG, JPG, SVG and WebP work; export PDF/AI/EPS files to PNG or SVG first. Leave Remove background automatically on for logos with a solid background, then use Before/After and Removal strength to check and fine-tune. Turn on Also clear enclosed spaces if the insides of letters still show the old background.
2
Pick a decoration method
In the Decoration card, under Stitch & size, choose Direct embroidery or Patch, then a technique from the 2026 Decoration Guide. Pick the location, shape and colors; only the options the guide allows are offered, and sizes are held to each location’s maximum. Use the Back, Right side and Left side tabs to put art on those sides; each side has its own art, stitch and size, and all of them are listed on the PDF.
3
Choose your cap
Click Choose cap style to pick the one cap you want from the catalog — narrow the catalog with the filters on the left (brand, style, color, look & features such as camo or heathered, and fabric), search by SKU, style, or colorway (e.g. “kahuna”), and star your usual go-tos so they float to the top. Try a random cap pulls one at random from the whole catalog.
4
Fine-tune placement and check every view
Drag the artwork directly on the cap, or use the sliders below it to nudge it left/right or up/down. Use the Front / Left side / Right side / Back tabs above the cap to see each view; a dot marks views that have a decoration, and choosing a side or back location switches to that view automatically. The left side is the right-side photo mirrored. Caps without side or back photos show the front only. The swap icon pulls in a different cap; the reset icon re-centers the art.
5
Fill in the letterhead
Add the client (required), buyer, and project, plus any extra context in Notes — all of it carries through to the PDF. Today’s date and the next job # (e.g. CR-261003-01) fill in automatically; click Edit on the sales rep card to change the rep.
6
Download the PDF
Click Download PDF to see a preview of the page, then Download PDF again to save it. The one-page PDF has your letterhead, the cap, an artwork close-up, and a spec table. It is clearly marked as a visual concept, not an authorized art comp; official artwork comes later from the Outdoor Cap Team for approval.
7
The link shares the tool, not your design
Opening this link always starts fresh, with the sample artwork and blank fields — it does not show whoever opens it the cap you just built. To send someone this design, download the PDF (step 6) and send that.
8
If your tab reloads mid-proof
This browser quietly autosaves your artwork, cap picks, and letterhead as you work. Come back and you’ll see a banner offering to resume right where you left off. It’s local to this browser only — it’s a safety net for you, not a way to share work with anyone else.
Export design sheet
Your browser's print dialog should have just opened — choose “Save as PDF” as the destination. If it didn’t open, press Ctrl/Cmd+P. You can also right-click (or press and hold on mobile) any single cap image below to save just that one.

Upload the logo first, or download anyway if you only need a style preview.
